I've been teaching since the late 1900s, supporting students and educators across K-12 settings. My work centers on explicit instruction, literacy, and helping teachers make instructional practices both effective and manageable.Â
I created Write It, Read It: Handwriting and Phonics for Early Readers because I wanted handwriting practice to do more than fill a page -- I wanted it to intentionally support literacy development.
I created Itty Bitty Handwriting Books for the same reason: practice should have a purpose - and be FUN!
